Halloween with Dylan: Released October 31.
Halloween With Dylan is the highly-anticipated sophomore holiday EP from the esteemed singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dylan, after whom the EP is named. Once again, listeners have the pleasure of listening to a genre-transcending sonic experience, following on from Dylan's debut release, 2024's highly acclaimed Christmas with Dylan.
Perhaps the most fitting way to describe this new Halloween-themed release comes from Dylan himself, in the 2024 song Jingle Hell: "It's not what you expect." The EP consists solely of all-new, never-before-heard, original tracks from Dylan. You have been warned: things get spooky...
Hildyardian Records is thrilled to be sharing this EP with you as our first official release.
Christmas with Dylan (2024)
Dylan's first foray into holiday music, Christmas with Dylan is a one-of-a-kind release: the perfect Christmas collection for any December festivities. The collection of songs received widespread praise for their fresh takes on Christmas classics. It will soon be re-released via Hildyardian Records.
Reviews for Christmas with Dylan
This EP is absolutely incredible. I have never been partial to Christmas music of any sort, but this EP seemed too promising to not check out. I am very glad I did, as if I didn't, I would have missed out on the memorable and well-written set of songs this EP contains. "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" starts the album off with an undeniable classic, with Dylan's own twist on it. The following track, "The Christmas Song", is an amusing little cut with lyrics that jovially speak of burning alive those who do not deserve the air that god has given them to breathe. It also includes a nice little reference to Charles Manson's classic song, "Invisible Tears".
The third track, "Jesse Graham Is Coming To Town", does not end Dylan's streak of short, accessible Christmas-themed songs. "Happy Xmas" is fun for the whole family! It is a heartfelt little tune about the inevitability of war, the prevalence of cowardice in today's society, and how the future contains nothing but the skull-crushing of the weak, the killing of the innocent and the slaughter of every person who dares to obstruct the path of DYLAN. ANY AND ALL SUB-HUMANS WHO THINK THEY HAVE IT IN THEM TO DENY DYLAN ARE DENYING THE NATURAL ORDER OF THINGS, AND WILL BE SUBJECTED TO HAVING THEIR FLESH TORN OFF BY ONE THOUSAND RABID DOGS. YOU WILL BURN! ALL HAIL THE TRAPEZIUM! ALL HAIL THE TRAPEZIUM!
"Jingle Hell" is my personal favourite song on this EP, though it was quite difficult to pick one due to the consistency of this project. It makes up for its short length with its cute piano melodies. And, of course, its tales of hell and eternal damnation. What a song!
If I have not made it apparent yet, I thoroughly enjoyed this EP! I cannot wait for Dylan to release new material. I wonder if he will stick to Christmas songs or perhaps try his hand in a new genre, like Funeral Doom Metal. Whatever he does, I am sure it will be incredible!

I could barely understand a word he said in the first song. Okay, song two. Tut, tut - tell Dylan even with the auto-tune he's still getting the notes wrong. But [it's] a very unique interpretation of the song. And the lyrics are certainly creative.
